learn at slimbridge wetland centre

“One of the most positive and educational visits we have been on. It was a fantastic experience for children and staff.”

“Thank you, we loved our trip. So many children said they had a lovely day and one child asked if we could move our school to the centre!”

“The children were all buzzing on the way back to school, mentioning highlights such as the otter talk, the ‘creatures from the pond’ and feeding the birds. It is a real credit to yourself, the other staff and the centre itself that the children weren't even listing the gift shop or adventure playground as a highlight!”

“Easiest trip to organise and best response from staff I have had in 20 years of teaching.”

“A fantastic day that fulfilled all of my learning objectives that I had set for individual pupils. Pupils were continually engaged and enthralled with what they saw and encountered.”

“The day was absolutely perfect. The education officer was great, great resources, very educational but also exciting. Our kids were thoroughly engaged throughout the day. It couldn't have been improved.”

“Wonderful first-hand experience where pupils could enjoy being children, through the interactions with the birds and nature. A wonderful day had by all. We intend to return next year.”

“Excellent setting which could fulfil a wide range of learning objectives from the National Curriculum and as a fun reward trip. Excellent customer service and understanding of our pupils' needs. It was perfect.”

"It is a fantastic day trip and the children learn so much and experiences are had that they may never come across again.”

“We had a great day. The experience supported and reinforced the learning we have done this term but, more importantly, enabled the children to have an engaging, enjoyable and memorable day.”
