Hand feed birds from around the world
For an unforgettable experience, get up close and hand feed rare and endangered birds from around the world. See your learners’ faces light up as they come nose to beak with these incredible birds.

Go wild in one of our play areas
To burn off extra energy and get physical, visit our pond skaters or tree creepers play areas, designed to spark your learners’ imagination. Leap from lily pad to lily pad or clamber up the giant bird feeder.

Spot wildlife from our child-friendly hide
For chilled out wildlife watching, visit our discovery hide. With its huge windows, close up views of wild birds, comfy chairs and even child-sized telescopes, it’s the perfect place for your learners to practise their ID skills.

Explore our ponds
Grab a net and see what fascinating creatures call the pond home. With the help of our digital microscope, magnifying glasses and ID keys, take a closer look at your creatures and their amazing adaptations. Book our staff led pond dipping session and you’ll be amazed what your learners discover.

Coastal Creek Aviary and Pelican Cove exhibit
Enjoy the sights and sounds of some of the world’s most vulnerable wetland birds. Meet the incredible Dalmatian Pelicans – big birds with even bigger appetites! Experience our walk-through aviary with birds flying above and diving below.

Eat lunch surrounded by awesome views
Enjoy your packed lunch from the comfort of our indoor classroom, with awesome views of wetland wildlife, the rolling South Downs and majestic Arundel Castle, or make the most of the great outdoors in our picnic areas.
