Fantastic flamingos
Our beautiful Caribbean flamingos will instantly catch your eye! Learn all about the flamingo courtship dance. How long could you stand on one leg?

Hand-feed the birds
Getting up close to the wildlife is one of the unforgettable joys of visiting us. See your learners’ faces light up at this amazing experience.

Team work!
Why not visit Wiggly Wood where your learners can work together making dens? This team building activity improves children’s communication skills, creativity and problem solving, all whilst they are having fun!

Spectacular views
Climb our viewing tower for 360 degree views of the reserve. Learners will be amazed how big the site really is and just how close to town they are!

Observatory Hide
For chilled out wildlife watching, visit our observatory hide which comes complete with seating, large windows and ID books, perfect for any class starting out. Binoculars can be borrowed from our learning team to further enhance this experience.

Play areas
There’s plenty of fun to be had in our variety of play areas! For wild play, head to our Explore Trail, Water Vole City and Swan Maze or for more traditional play check out Flamingo Bay.

Outdoor trails
Follow one of our self-guided trails. Can your learners find all of the species listed? Can they spot signs of the changing seasons? There’s amazing things to spot all year-round!

Millennium Wetlands
Explore our stunning Millennium Wetlands. Visit our Heron’s Wing Hide or just spend time immersed in nature. Being the wilder part of our site, who knows what wonderful sights you’ll see?
