Self-guided visits
Explore the wetlands at Steart Marshes all year round by following meandering paths that lead through many different habitats.
Our viewing screens and hides offer landscape views over saltmarsh, freshwater grazing marsh and the tidal river Parrett.
There is always something new to see when you stop, look and listen… wildflowers, birds, dragonflies, maybe even a roe deer or water vole! Further details on our Seasonal Highlights page.
You might also like to try our self-led willow sculpture trail or wildlife rubbings trail, leaflets are available on request but please bring crayons.
We can offer introductory talks and guided walks. Pond dipping may be available over the summer months.
Please contact us for further details.
